Boat and Pontoon
Rules & Regulations

1. Pontoon boat is to remain AT LEAST 25 Ft. from ALL shorelines AT ALL TIMES. Pontoon is to remain on the water and NEVER be docked or beached anywhere other than its original marina dock slip. No persons are to be dropped off or picked up from anywhere other than the original slip.

2. MAXIMUM of 8 persons on pontoon.  Infants are included in this number. NO ANIMALS ALLOWED.

3. All persons MUST remain within the gates at all times while the pontoon is in motion.  NO BOW RIDING.

4.  No jumping, diving, or swimming from the pontoon at any time.

5. No cooking and/or BBQ’s are allowed on the pontoons. 

6. No one under the age of 18 is to operate the pontoon boat at any time. Valid license required.

7. Children 13 and under are required by law to wear life jackets AT ALL TIMES.

8. No towing of water toys, kayaks, paddle boards, etc.

9. No docking of ANY type of water craft alongside the pontoon. DO NOT tie pontoon boats to one another.

10. No shelled nuts of any kind, no dumping of worm dirt, no “ground in” or smeared power bait.  Failure to adhere to this  policy will result in an additional $20.00 cleaning fee being charged and/or loss of pontoon deposit.

11.  Be mindful of sharp objects in pockets or use of fishing knives in relation to the vinyl seats and outfitting of the pontoon.

12.  All California Boating Safety Laws must be observed at all times.

13.  All trash and personal belongings must be removed from boat upon returning to dock.

14.  Key MUST be turned in to the boathouse staff upon completion of rental prior to closing of boathouse each day.

15.  ANY intentional or reckless misuse or damage to the pontoon boat will result in prosecution to the full extent of the law.

Failure to observe the above guidelines WILL result in the immediate loss of the rental, the monies paid for the rental, as well as the loss of the $100.00 security deposit collected at start of rental.

Mooring is first come, first serve.  See Boat House for availability.  We CANNOT check availability over the phone.

Launch Fee | $5

We do accept advance reservations on pontoon boats throughout our season. A deposit via Visa or Mastercard is required, and a $25.00 cancellation fee is withheld in the event three weeks notice of cancellation is not provided. Without the three week cancellation notification, the entire deposit is forfeited.

Mono Village purchases fish to stock in Upper Twin several times a season with donations from our guests as well as monies received from fishing derby entries.  The CA Dept. of Fish and Game also stocks throughout the season.  Mono Village is home to the California State record brown trout weighing in at 26 pounds 8 ounces; caught by Mr. Danny Stearman
